Wuliangye (五粮液) — literally "five-grain liquid" — is produced in Yibin, Sichuan Province, from a blend of sorghum, rice, glutinous rice, wheat, and corn. The combination creates the brand's signature strong-aroma (nong xiang) profile: rich, layered, with a long warming finish.
Founded in 1909, the brand has become China's globally recognised baijiu, synonymous with prestige gifting, state banquets, and Chinese cultural occasions worldwide.
